2010. december 20-én az Európai Bizottság Magyarországi Képviseletének új épületében tartotta meg szokásos workshopját a MET, amelyen metesek beszéltek meteseknek aktuális magyar és európai kérdésekről.
After the implementation of the Baltic Sea Region Strategy, the European Union is working on the elaboration of a new macro-regional strategy for the Danube Region. As part of this area and future holder of the EU's rotating Council Presidency, Hungary would like to play a decisive role in the implementation of the new idea.
The Hungarian Europe Society (HES) is inviting you to a workshop dealing with this much debated, but less known initiative. The authors, all members of HES, will present their recent publications concerning the Danube Region Strategy of the EU.
On 15-18 July 2010, András Deák participated at the LIBSEEN summer academy entitled “Balkans in the progress of globalization” in Ljubljana representing the HES.

On 16 December 2009, HES members held presentations for HES members in the Hungarian House of Photography - Mai Manó House.
The Hungarian Europe Society elaborated its opinion on the proposed strategy by the Hungarian government concerning cooperation in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice in the European Union on 27 March, 2009.
A MET vélemenyezte az Európai Uniónak a Szabadság, biztonság és jog érvényesülésének térségén belüli együttműködés magyar kormányzati stratégiájának tervezetét 2009. március 27-én.
MET-tagok tartottak előadást a társaság éves rendszerességű workshopján 2007. december 19-én.
Pat Cox, a Nemzetközi Európai Mozgalom elnöke, az Európai Parlament volt elnöke és a MET Tanácsadó Testületének tagja tartott előadást "Az Unió helyzete" címmel 2007. május 3-án.
2006. december 18-án évzáró műhelykonferenciát tartott a MET a Ráday Könyvesházban.
A MET első évzáró műhelybeszélgetését 2005. december 7-én rendezte a Friedrich Naumann Alapítvány irodájában.
