One Percent

The group Civilizáció - the Hungarian Europe Society is its member - launched a joint campaign on 29 April 2020 asking Hungarian citizens "if not having done so, send one percent" of the personal income tax to non-governmental organisations.

Against Corruption

On 7 February 2018 HES joined the initiative of Civilizáció, which aims to reduce the level of corruption in Hungary. The initiative is based on the study of Transparency International about possible measures to confine corruption, summarizing its main findings in 12 points.

István Hegedűs participated at a workshop entitled "European Hub for Civic Engagement" organised by Das Progressive Zentrum on 16-17 September 2019 in Lisbon.

Preconditions of Success

Kata Nagy participated at the workshop organised in the framework of the annual Forum 2000 held on 13-15 October 2019 in Prague in the American Center. The Hungarian Europe Society was a co-organiser of the event.
