What About My Engagement?

On 26 October 2017 at an event in Debrecen organised by Civilizáció, a grouping of Hungarian civil organizations formed as a response to the attacks of the Hungarian government against the civil society, nine Hungarian civil organizations, including the Hungarian Europe Society, presented their activities in ‘flash presentations’. In her contribution Györgyi Kocsis encouraged the mostly young audience to establish its own local communities promoting the ideas of a united Europe and defending the values of the European integration.

On 7 February 2018 HES joined the initiative of Civilizáció, which aims to reduce the level of corruption in Hungary. The initiative is based on the study of Transparency International about possible measures to confine corruption, summarizing its main findings in 12 points.
