On 4 December 2018 István Hegedűs gave an interview to Klubrádió about the reactions of the actors of the European political sphere to the news on the forced move of the Central European University to Vienna. According to him there is a huge tension inside the centre-right European political family because of Viktor Orbán's political line: although the exclusion of Fidesz is not unimaginable before the European elections, this is still the least likely scenario.
