Thirteen NGO-s, including the Hungarian Europe Society, members of the Civilizáció group protested against the decision of the National Media Authority on 21 October 2019. The authority withdrew the licence of Civil Rádió on the pretext of minor and already revised irregularities, although the independent community radio run by volunteers has served as an irreplaceable discussion forum for various social and policy issues during its 25 years existence.
