István Hegedűs was quoted in an article on the relations between Hungary and the European Union published in Neue Zürcher Zeitung on 22 May 2020. Hegedűs expects a stronger reaction from the EU institutions against the Hungarian government. In this case: "Hungarians would know that they have to make a choice between a pro-European political concept and an anti-liberal half-dictatorship".
