The Hungarian Europe Society and its partners - as part of the 'EUritage' consortium led by WiseEuropa, a Warsaw-based think-tank - announced an essay competition for Hungarian high school and university students in March 2020. Following the decision of the jury, the winner of the competition became Máté Bozóky with his paper and the second place was given to Nadia Taylor Sol for her shirt writing. 

István Hegedűs was one of the guest speakers at the roundtable entitled "Perspectives on Migration in the European Union: Challenges to Integration in Hungary and Poland" in the framework of the Long Island University Global Program at the Central European University on 23 January 2018.
