Erik Uszkiewicz was also a speaker at the event We are Citizens' Agore organized by the Union of European Federalists on 23 February 2019 in Budapest. The Vice-Chairperson of the Hungarian Europe Society as a member of the 'What can the European Union do for Democracy and Rule of law across Europe?' panel talked about the current status of the rule of law in Hungary, the recent measures of the Orbán government and the responses to them from the EU institutions.The full programme is available here.

Erik Uszkiewicz participated at the training of the Create/React program in Berlin in the framework of the European Citizen Rights project between 19-20 June 2015.
On 24 May 2018 the annual meeting of the Hungarian Europe Society elected Erik Uszkiewicz as vice-chairperson following the resignation of András Schweitzer.
