Hegedűs István made a presentation at the foreign policy section of the conference of the National Student Association of Political Science on the Hungarian EU Presidency at Corner Event Center, Budapest on 7 April 2011.
István Hegedűs presented his views about the relations between the European Union and Hungary to the student group of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation at Gerlóczy Café on 9 June 2014.
In Britain, the campaign of the European Citizens' Initiative for Media Pluralism started on 21 March 2013. István Hegedűs represented the coalition of Hungarian NGO-s at the event in the House of Lords.
The Hungarian Europe Society organised a workshop entitled “First Time Hungarian EU Presidency, First Time in a Trio” on 29-30 October 2010 at the Central European University in Budapest.
