Erik Uszkiewicz participated at the 10th Freedom Games in Łódź between 15 and 17 September 2023. As a panelist he talked about a publication entitled "The Contemporary Human Rights Situation in Central and Eastern Europe'' and elaborated what the democratic community should reconsider when facing democratic backsliding in Hungary.

 

About the publication:

The articles in the publication inform and update on certain aspects of the human rights situation in 7 European countries: Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Poland, Russia and Ukraine. The authors, including Erik Uszkiewicz analyse specific views of the contemporary human rights situation. Each had the freedom to focus on the problems they regard to be the most pressing in their countries.
